Start Your Electrical Career
Joining an apprenticeship program gives you a clear path forward. No prior experience is needed. What matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to the process. Over four years, you can develop the skills needed to move toward becoming a licensed electrician and building a lasting career in the industry.
Do I need a college degree to get started as an electrician?
You do not need college experience to become an electrician. An apprenticeship is one of the most practical ways to enter this field. Instead of spending years in a classroom alone, you get to learn while doing real work.
You’ll train under experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience on real job sites. Simultaneously, you’ll attend classes on electrical theory, safety rules, and building codes taught by licensed electricians. Gradually, you’ll be able to take on more responsibility as your skills improve. It is an excellent way to build confidence while learning in a structured environment.
What sort of skills will I learn as an apprentice?
At an apprenticeship, you can learn skills that have real value. Electrical work is hands-on and heavily focused on problem-solving. You’ll learn effective troubleshooting techniques and follow safety standards that protect both you and the people around you. These are skills you can carry with you throughout your entire career.
For many people, an apprenticeship also offers a more direct path than a traditional college route. You are focused on one trade, and everything you learn is connected to your future career. Start with the basics and grow into advanced skills over time. This is how strong, reliable electricians are made.

This program is designed to guide you step by step as you build your skills and expand your knowledge. You won’t be learning on your own. Instead, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals who are there to teach, guide, and support you as you grow. Classroom + Hands-On Training
The training combines classroom instruction with hands-on experience. In the classroom, you’ll learn key concepts such as electrical theory, safety practices, and industry standards. With each lesson and jobsite experience, you’ll continue building confidence and learning how to handle real electrical tasks the right way.
